VisionTrade AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates visiontradeai.com and visiontradeai.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using our services you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth. We use your email to identify your account and manage access to the private beta.
Chart images
When you upload a chart screenshot for analysis, the image is sent to Google’s Gemini AI API for processing. We do not permanently store your chart images on our servers. Images are transmitted in-memory and discarded after the analysis response is returned.
Analysis history
We store a record of your analysis metadata (symbol, timeframe, signal direction, confidence score, date) in a private WordPress data store to power your trade journal and leaderboard features. This data is tied to your email address and is never sold or shared.
Usage data
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to collect anonymous, aggregated page-view and performance data. No personally identifiable information is included in these analytics.
Push notifications
If you subscribe to push alerts, we store your browser push subscription token to send you trade alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time from within the app settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and control access to the private beta workspace
- To process chart screenshots through the Gemini AI analysis engine
- To display your personal trade journal, equity curve, and performance history
- To calculate anonymised leaderboard rankings (your email is hashed — never shown publicly)
- To send push alerts for watchlist signals if you have opted in
- To send transactional emails (access approval, weekly recap) via Resend
- To monitor platform health and improve service performance
3. Third-Party Services
Sign-in is handled by Google OAuth 2.0. Chart analysis is powered by Google Gemini AI. Your use of these services is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
Payments for the VisionTrade Indicator are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. Stripe’s handling of payment data is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
The app is hosted on Vercel; the marketing site is hosted on WordPress.com. Both providers may process request metadata (IP address, user agent) as part of standard hosting infrastructure.
Transactional emails are sent via Resend. Your email address is passed to Resend solely to deliver messages you have requested or that are required for your account.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account email and analysis history for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion. Chart images are not retained after analysis. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing admin@visiontradeai.com.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser localStorage to save your app preferences (theme, analyzer settings, trade journal) locally on your device. No advertising or tracking cookies are set. NextAuth uses a session cookie solely to maintain your authenticated session.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Children’s Privacy
VisionTrade AI is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

VisionTrade AI provides educational market analysis only — not financial advice. All trade ideas, signals, and analysis are for informational purposes. Trading financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
